EWT-CEEG Agreement Signing Ceremony
PUTRAJAYA, 20 September 2016 : Malaysia’s leading transformer manufacturer EWT Transformers Sdn Bhd had signed a Technology Agreement with China’s Electric Equipment Group (Jiangsu) Pvt Ltd (CEEG) from China, marking a milestone in the Malaysian power industry as EWT expands its product line to include cast resin transformer operations.
The agreement was signed by EWT Chief Executive Officer, Ir. Zainuddin bin Hj Jamaluddin and CEEG General Manager, Mr. Connor Zhou. On hand as witnesses were the TNB Director, Dato’ Wira Md Sidek Ahmad, EWT Directors, Mr. Ikwan Hafiz Tan Sri Jamaluddin and Mr. Abdul Latif Mahmud and CEEG Business Manager, Mr. Wang Tao.
The ceremony for this momentous occasion was held at the Marriot Hotel, Putrajaya on 20th September 2016, and was attended by EWT Directors, senior management staff, TNB Director and CEEG representatives.
EWT Director, Mr. Ikwan Hafiz Tan Sri Jamaluddin had expressed his positive outlook in his speech on this newly established collaboration between EWT and CEEG, stating that this joint initiative will be an important advancement in boosting EWT market shares in the region.
